Design process
SafePet is an OVMA (Ontario Veterinary Medical Association) affiliate organization that provides pet boarding for people in unsafe home conditions while they are seeking asylum from their unsafe home life. Their purpose is to keep pets safe and remove the burden of worry from the humans in danger as well.
With this in mind, the design was meant to create a safe and welcoming brand to let people know they are safe to trust their pets to them and ease their minds. Similarly, the intent was to create a very unassuming website and allow for easy-to-digest information in case the viewer is under duress when looking into solutions.
The colours were chosen in mind to match the OVMA brand, as well as to show a very welcoming but calming environment.
The mission of SafePet Ontario is an incredibly valorous one and it was a pleasure to work with them in helping people get to a safer and happier life.
